WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair fined 100,000 USD on SmackDown Live

Following her actions at the WWE Survivor Series PPV, Charlotte Flair has been fined 100,000 USD by SmackDown Live General Manager Paige on last night’s show. During her match on Sunday, Charlotte attack as many as five WWE referees who tried to calm her down as she was assaulting Ronda Rousey.

Charlotte, who was supposed to captain Team SmackDown in the PPV, was drafted in as the last-minute replacement for SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch to face Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey as the WWE medical team did not clear Becky after suffering concussion, thanks to a punch from Nia Jax on the go-home episode of Raw.

Both Ronda and Charlotte put on a good match, and it could have easily been the match of the night. Things turned upside down when Charlotte took a Kendo stick and hit Ronda, causing a DQ and eventually lost the match. She didn’t stop right there as she kept hitting Ronda with Kendo sticks, delivered a natural selection on a steel chair before she wrapped a steel chair around Ronda’s neck and stomped on it.
During her attack, WWE officials tried to stop Charlotte from attacking Ronda further and take her out of the ring, but the seven-time Women’s World Champion took out every single referee who tried to stop her and continued to attack the former UFC Champion.

Charlotte shrugged off the fine and proceeded to face Billie Kay after the IIconics interrupted. After beating Billie Kay, she challenged Peyton Royce for a match during which Billie Kay interfered. Charlotte took out both the members of IIconics to stand tall.

After being fined, Charlotte tweeted what she thinks about the fine imposed on her and tweeted out, “A picture is worth one hundred thousand dollars. #SDLive” with a picture of herself on Twitter.
