Arsenal and adidas Introduce 2023/24 Third Kit

In collaboration with adidas, we take great pride in revealing the all-new third kit for the 2023/24 season, paying homage to a retro style reminiscent of the 1980s.

Showcasing a base color of mineral green accompanied by collegiate navy shoulders, as well as off-white stylized crest and sponsor logos, Arsenal and adidas have reimagined a cherished classic that is perfectly suited for the contemporary era. This homage to a distinctive kit presents a wearable collection that caters to both supporters in the stadium and at home, as well as the players on the pitch.

With our men’s and women’s teams gearing up for excellence in the UEFA Champions League this season, the launch of the kit is accompanied by an engaging film that transports continental style to the streets of Islington. Among those featured in the film are Declan Rice, Jurrien Timber, and Leah Williamson, and the film captures recognizable landmarks situated near Emirates Stadium.

Inigo Turner, Design Director for Football Apparel at adidas, expressed, “Drawing from the wealth of Arsenal’s kit history, delving into the past provides a perennial source of inspiration for designing apparel that resonates with today’s supporters. The iconic away shirt in green from the 1982/83 season served as a unique occurrence, and this contemporary rendition of that classic seamlessly merges fashion and football.”

“As these domains seamlessly converge, our aim was to craft a kit that excels in performance, offering optimal benefits to athletes, while simultaneously making a striking fashion statement that supporters take pride in wearing both during matches and beyond the stadium.”

adidas’ latest performance advancements are embedded within the design to ensure athletes receive the utmost support in meeting the demands of today’s game. The on-field iteration of the shirt is constructed with HEAT.RDY technology, meticulously designed to keep players feeling comfortable when performing on the grandest stage. The replica version of the kit boasts AEROREADY technology, which leverages moisture-wicking and absorbent materials to keep players feeling dry.

Both iterations of the shirt have been meticulously crafted using 100% recycled materials, exemplifying adidas’ commitment to combat plastic waste. Earlier this year, adidas announced its proactive approach in transitioning from virgin polyester to recycled polyester in its products wherever feasible, a goal it is on track to accomplish by the close of 2024.
