South Africa posted an imposing 348/6 in the first innings, led by a brilliant 150 from Jordan Hermann.
His outstanding knock gave the Proteas a strong platform and put Namibia under significant pressure while chasing a daunting target.
Subrayen Leads South Africa’s Bowling Attack
Prenelan Subrayen then produced an excellent bowling performance, claiming four wickets as South Africa restricted Namibia to 162/8 in 31 overs.
The second innings was affected by rain, limiting the number of overs available to the hosts.
Namibia Face Tough Challenge
Namibia will need a much-improved performance with both bat and ball if they are to level the series.
South Africa, meanwhile, will be confident after their dominant showing in the opening ODI and will look to maintain their momentum in Windhoek.
