Iberia and LALIGA have joined forces in a sponsorship agreement that makes the airline an official sponsor of the Spanish competition starting from the 2023/2024 season

As two major Spanish organizations, they are set to bring the best of Spanish culture and entertainment to Latin America, offering exclusive experiences to soccer fans in the region.

The collaboration between Iberia and LALIGA will encompass various activations, events, and content tailored for fans in LATAM, aiming to celebrate Spanish soccer and share the passion and excitement of the competition with the Latin American audience.

This sponsorship comes at a significant moment for both companies. For Iberia, it aligns with its strategic focus on strengthening its commitment to the Latin American markets, where it operates 18 destinations in 16 countries. Simultaneously, LALIGA is undergoing a transformation that includes brand evolution and innovations in its broadcasting and digital ecosystem.

Javier Tebas, President of LALIGA, expressed his delight in collaborating with Iberia, highlighting the shared values and cultural proximity that unite them. Fernando Candela, President and CEO of Iberia, emphasized the airline’s commitment to connecting people with the world and bringing the excitement of Spanish soccer to Latin America. The partnership also aligns with Iberia’s ‘Talento a bordo’ (Talent on Board) project, which aims to promote various disciplines, including sports, culture, and music.
