The 2019 Global T20 Canada is a professional Twenty20 cricket tournament, currently being played at the CAA Centre, Brampton, Ontario (Canada). The 2019 Global T20 Canada is the second edition of the tournament. The League will take place from July 25, 2019 to August 11, 2019 in Canada. The 1st edition of 2019 Global T20 Canada was won by Vancouver Knights. Brampton Wolves were named as the 6th franchise team for the tournament in June 2019.
The teams taking part are Toronto Nationals, Vancouver Knights, Montreal Tigers, Winnipeg Hawks, Edmonton Royals and Brampton Wolves. Brampton Wolves is a new entrant to the tournament which is in its second year. Brendon McCullum, Yuvraj Singh, Kieron Pollard, Chris Gayle, Shoaib Malik, Andre Russell, George Bailey, Sunil Narine, Thisara Perera, Kane Williamson, Faf du Plessis, Ben Cutting, Chris Lynn, Dwayne Bravo, JP Duminy, Daren Sammy, Shakib Al Hasan, Colin Munro are the marquee players in the Global T20 League Canada 2019.
Apart from them, Trent Boult, Tim Southee, Shahid Afridi, Wahab Riaz, Shadab Khan, Sandeep Lamichhane, Rassie van der Dussen, Ali Khan, etc. are the other star players playing in the GT20 Canada 2019.

There are six teams in fray and during the course of the tournament, the teams will play in three stages including the Playoffs to reach the Global T20 Canada 2019 final, which is scheduled to take place on 11th Aug 2019.
In the finals played on 11th August 2019 at CAA Centre Brampton, Winnipeg Hawks beat Vancouver Knights in Super Over to clinch the 2nd version of the Global T20 Canada 2019. It was a nail-biting finish to say the least. The key highlights of the Finals of the Global T20 Canada 2019 is as below –
- At the end of 20-overs, Vancouver Knight and Winnipeg Hawks were tied at the same scores of 192
- Winnipeg chased down 10 runs in the Super Over to win the final
- JP Duminy was awarded Player of the Tournament for top-scoring with 332 runs
