The Caribbean Premier League (CPL or CPLT20) is a domestic Twenty20 cricket League annually held in West Indies. This tournament is presently sponsored by Hero MotoCorp and consequently officially named the Hero CPLT20. The first edition of the Caribbean Premier League was started in 2013 from 29 July 2013 to 26 August 2013. The first CPL tournament was won by the Jamaica Tallawahs who defeated the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the final. The CPL 2019 will be kicking off on 04 September 2019 and continue till 12 October 2019.

- Each team squad will have a total of 17 members.
- Each squad must have a minimum of 9 senior West Indies players and two emerging West Indies players.
- There should be 1 ICC Americas player.
- The number of overseas players in the squad should not exceed 5.

The 2019 Caribbean Premier League will be the 7th edition of the Caribbean Premier League which will schedule to played from 4 September 2019 to 12 October 2019. The CPL inaugural tournament was first started in the year 2013. Jamaica Tallawahs had won that first season of Caribbean Premier League by defeating Guyana Amazon Warriors in the final.
