Chelsea Women will be well-represented in the upcoming December internationals, with 20 players featuring for their respective national teams. The fixtures include crucial Nations League clashes and friendly encounters, showcasing the international prowess of Chelsea’s talented squad.

The highlight fixture involves Beth Mead’s return to the England squad after a year away. Mead, alongside Alessia Russo and Lotte Wubben-Moy, will face the Netherlands, led by Vivianne Miedema and Victoria Pelova, at Wembley Stadium on December 1. The Lionesses must secure a win to boost their chances of participating in the next year’s Olympics.

On December 5, England will travel to Hampden Park to play against Scotland, while the Dutch team will host Belgium. These matches will determine the fate of the teams in the Nations League.

In Group B, Manuela Zinsberger’s Austria will challenge group leaders France, followed by a clash with Frida Maanum’s Norway. Norway, currently at risk of relegation, needs positive results against Austria and Portugal to secure safety.
