The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 will get underway from 20th February 2020 where defending champions Quetta Gladiators will take on Islamabad United in the opening match of tournament at Karachi’s National Stadium. It will be the first time that all the Pakistan Super League matches will be staged in Pakistan, with none in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Multan will host the all matches of PSL 2020, which concludes with the final on 22nd March 2020. Pakistan Super League (PSL) History
Pakistan Super League (PSL) is a domestic T20 cricket tournament in Pakistan established by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in 2015. The PSL T20 tournament initially began with 5 teams in 2016 when Islamabad United were crowned the champions of the first edition.
The stage has been set for the PSL 2020 with the franchises picking their best players to go for the high-profile T20 cricket competition. The PSL 2020 draft took place on 06 December 2019 at National Cricket Academy in Lahore and all the franchises have tried to pick the best team for the tournament.

PSL 2020 Match Venues
The 5th edition of Pakistan Super League will be held entirely in Pakistan for the first time in tournament history. All the 34 matches of PSL 2020 will be held in Lahore, Karachi, Multan and Rawalpindi, with UAE as a back-up option. The opening ceremony of the tournament is scheduled to take place in Karachi, while the playoffs, including the final, are scheduled to take place at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
