Manchester City, in collaboration with fans and staff, is running a festive community campaign called ‘The Greatest Season of All’ to support young people in Manchester. The campaign involves gift-giving, community events, and fundraising efforts. So far, it has raised £200,000, equivalent to 5,760 hours of free 1-2-1 and group mentoring. The funds will contribute to healthier futures for young people, focusing on building confidence, life skills, and career aspirations through targeted mentoring and community football outreach by City in the Community coaches.

Since early November, the club has been donating £5 to its charity, City in the Community, for every purchase made by fans from selected Christmas retail items. Additionally, the club has tripled additional donations made by fans and staff, up to the value of £75,000, to support City in the Community football programs. The campaign also involves supporting the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital by donating over 500 gift bags and blankets to children staying in the hospital during the festive period.

The City in the Community initiative has organized free events at the Etihad Campus and supported local organizations and food banks through donations and volunteering. Manchester City Women also made a surprise visit to Francis House to spread festive cheer.

The festive campaign is expected to create impactful opportunities for young people and build a sense of community. Notably, the club and its fans have donated funds, participated in events, and supported charitable causes to make a positive impact during the holiday season.
