ABU DHABI — Team Abu Dhabi, representing the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, has confirmed the inclusion of Emirati driver Mansoor Al Mansoori in its delegation for the second round of the UIM F1H2O World Championship, to be held at Lake Issyk-Kul in the Kyrgyz Republic from 31st July to 2nd August.
Al Mansoori, a member of Team Abu Dhabi, will travel with the delegation as the team continues its preparations for the championship round. He steps into the wider squad having risen through the team’s ranks, taking on a role with the outfit following the retirement of veteran champion Thani Al Qemzi.
The race line-up
For the Kyrgyzstan round, Team Abu Dhabi fields a three-boat challenge as it looks to strengthen its bid for championship honours.

The weekend programme
The event’s programme begins on 31st July with registration, technical scrutineering and free practice sessions. Qualifying and the sprint race will take place on the Saturday, before the Grand Prix concludes the weekend on Sunday.
A landmark venue
The Kyrgyzstan round is one of the most striking additions to the F1H2O calendar. It marks the championship’s first-ever Grand Prix in Central Asia, staged on Lake Issyk-Kul — known locally as the “Pearl of Kyrgyzstan” — which sits at 1,607 metres above sea level, making it the highest-altitude venue in the series’ history. The temporary circuit, set against the Tian Shan mountain backdrop, stretches to nearly two kilometres and is marked out by seven buoys, with organisers anticipating a large crowd and a broadcast reaching dozens of countries.
Championship context
The event is round two of the 2026 season, following the opener in Cagliari, Italy. F1H2O’s single-seat, closed-cockpit catamarans are capable of speeds approaching 250 km/h, and the fresh, untested waters of Issyk-Kul present every competitor with an unfamiliar challenge — one Team Abu Dhabi will be aiming to master as it pushes for a strong result in the Kyrgyz Republic.
