WPL 2025 will begin on 14 February.
The third season of the Women Premier League (WPL) will start on 14th February 2025. Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru will face Gujarat Giants in Vadodara in the tournament opener.
There will be a total of 22 matches played over 29 days in the WPL 2025. An eliminator and a final will follow the 20 league games. The tournament’s knockout stage will commence on 13 February.
In all, five teams — Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bengaluru and UP Warriorz — will compete.
The playoffs in the WPL are not the same as those in the Indian Premier League (IPL). In the playoff, the top three of the league stage qualified.
With the first-ranked team going straight to the final. The teams finishing second and third then meet in an eliminator, the victors going through to the final while the losers go out. It is played between the team that finishes top and the winner of the eliminator.
Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru have split the two titles so far.

WPL 2025: Dates
WPL 2025 will be held from February 14 to March 15. The league stage will take place from February 14 to March 11, followed by the playoffs on March 13 and March 15.

All the 22 games of WPL 2025 will start at 7:30 PM IST / 02:00 PM GMT.
WPL 2025: Venues
WPL 2025 will be held at four venues: Vadodara, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Mumbai. The initial six games will take place in Vadodara while the remaining eight matches will be in Bengaluru. Four matches of the league will then be held at Lucknow. The last four matches, including the playoffs, will happen in Mumbai.
