SPURS MANAGER AND PAST ENCOUNTERS
Ange Postecoglou took over as Spurs’ manager in June, succeeding Antonio Conte. The 57-year-old previously managed the Socceroos at the 2014 World Cup and experienced success in the Asian Cup the following year. His successful stint with Yokohama Marinos in Japan led him to Celtic in 2021, where he won five of six domestic trophies in two seasons before joining Tottenham.
LAST SEASON’S ENCOUNTERS
United’s standout performance against Spurs last season was a 2-0 victory at Old Trafford, with goals from Fred and Bruno Fernandes. Six months later, we secured a two-goal lead in north London, but Spurs under Mason’s temporary management managed to draw 2-2 in the second half.
