Two talented teen swimmers from Dubai schools, Karin Belbeisi and Christina Rach, have earned spots in the Paris 2024 Olympics. Karin, 15, of GEMS Wellington Academy – Al Khail, will represent Jordan in the 400m freestyle, while 16-year-old Christina, a sports scholar at GEMS Wellington International School, will swim the 50m freestyle for Eritrea. Their qualification follows years of rigorous training, with Karin achieving personal bests in multiple events at the Singapore Nationals, and Christina setting a new mark in the 50m freestyle at the World Aquatics Championships in Doha.
