On November 18, Rahane posted a picture of himself dreaming about the pink-ball Test on his official Instagram handle. ” Already dreaming about the historic pink ball test 😊” wrote Rahane as the caption along with the picture.

In reply, Kohli and Dhawan replied on the post separately. “Nice pose jinksy”, replied skipper Kohli while Dhawan wrote ” “Sapney mein pic khich gayi.”

Meanwhile, both teams are busy with their preparations ahead of the start of the Test match. Both teams started their preparations at the Holkar stadium itself under lights after the first Test finished inside three days. The entire Bangladesh team spent approximately three hours at the center wickets on Monday with head coach Russell Domingo giving catching drills to the players in the slip cordon and wicketkeeper Liton Das.

Preparations are in full swing at the Eden Gardens to get the stadium ready for the momentous occasion. India are 1-up in the series going into the Test match while Bangladesh have that extra pressure of following catch up in the series. Bangladesh are yet to win a Test match against India and all the events surrounding the pink-ball Test will add to the pressure even more.

The Tigers are already without two of their most experienced players Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal. Moreover, they were outplayed by a much-strengthened Indian team in the first Test. They registered scores of 150 and 213 with the bat and their bowlers were blasted to all parts by Mayank Agarwal and co as India piled up a mammoth 493/6.
