Juventus are thinking of signing Paul Pogba from Manchester United for the summer transfer window of 2019.
As per the information gathered by the Daily Express, the club from Italy are ready to make an assault and to sweeten the deal, the Old Lady are willing to offer one of the three players to Manchester United.
The three players from the list are centre-half Medhi Benatia, left-back Alex Sandro and forward Mario Mandzukic. Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was interested in all these players, but unfortunately, Ed Woodward decided against sanctioning moves for these players.
Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici was once a target for Manchester United because the Red Devils are looking to appoint a new director of football for the first time in the club’s history.
Paratici is now the one who is leading the negotiation for the Pogba deal. He has reportedly informed the Red Devils that he is ready to sacrifice one of Juventus three players mentioned above in order to get the deal for the 2018 World Cup winner over the line.
Manchester United defeated Juventus 2-1 in the UEFA Champions League match in Turin and after the match, Pogba was asked about returning to the Serie A.
“Who knows? I’m with United now. There is so much talk about this, but am happy to be playing for Manchester United. It was wonderful coming back here, although it felt weird going into the ‘away’ locker room,” Pogba said.
“I was so accustomed to the Juve one. The reaction of the fans really moved me, as I missed them and Italian football. It was great to be back in this stadium, where I started out and won big trophies.”
Selling Paul Pogba and getting either of Medhi Benatia, Alex Sandro or Mario Mandzukic plus cash in return is not a good deal for Manchester United in any form or shape.
