Norway’s innings was disrupted by leg-spinner Ben Ward, who quickly took 3/9 in his four overs, while Daniel Birrell and Julius Sumerauer, the openers, also managed to grab two wickets apiece. Norway, who remained undefeated until the final, scored only 69 runs in the 16th over, but a quick display by Harrison Carlyon (20 runs off eight balls) and Asa Tribe (23 not out off 15 balls) ensured a swift end. Ward’s successful performance with the ball led him to claim the title of Player of the Tournament with a tournament-best 13 wickets following the final win. Jersey has played well role to win the match.

By winning, Jersey Sails has qualified for the Regional Final along with Scotland and The Netherlands. Italy will also be at the tournament after winning the Sub-regional A Qualifier in June. The remaining spot in the qualifier will go to the champion of the August Sub-regional C Qualifier in Spain, which will feature 10 teams just like the previous two events.
