Real Madrid Transfer Rumour – PSG willing to sell Neymar
- Updated: July 27, 2018
According to reports in Spain, Paris Saint-Germain are willing to sell Neymar to Real Madrid. The French side are eager to do so to keep Kylian Mbappe at the club.
Madrid have been linked with a move for the Neymar since last summer. He made a stunning £198 million move to the French champions and has ever since been linked with a move to Bernabeu.
Los Blancos have repeatedly denied rumours that they have made contact with the former Barcelona star. They have also made a similar statement about Kylian Mbappe as well, but rumours are still keen about them signing one of the PSG stars.
Mbappe was the standout stars of France’s World Cup triumph, and PSG will be happy that they got him last summer itself. They signed him from AS Monaco on loan until the end of the season with an obligation to sign him for £168 million.
AS reports PSG are doing their best to keep Mbappe at the club and are willing to let go of any other player. Neymar is said to be the favourite to leave as the French side need to balance their books for FFP issues.
Reports claimed that Real Madrid were willing to splash out around £300 million to sign Neymar this summer. With Ronaldo leaving, the rumours became stronger than ever.
However, Neymar Jr has said that he does not intend to leave PSG. 'I'll stay. I have a contract with PSG, and I've chosen to be there for the challenge, for new things and higher goals,' he told Fox Sports.
Continuing to talk about the possibility of the transfer, Neymar said, 'I won't change my mind about it. I hope we can have a successful season, with new silverware, too. The press enjoys creating rumours, but everyone knows how much I care about PSG.'
