Qatar T10 League 2019, Match 4: Desert Riders vs Flying Oryx Preview And Dream XI Predictions

The Qatar T10 League 2019 is slowly gaining momentum as it is ready to host its fourth match of the season. The Desert Riders and the Flying Oryx are all set to take on each other at the Asian Town Stadium in Doha. This will be the second match for both these teams who have won their maiden games. Both the teams win their matches while chasing which has set the winning formulae in the competition.
Chasing has been the set template that teams have been following in T20 competitions over the years to win matches. Teams chasing know exactly know what target to chase and can play according to the situation. The Qatar T10 League 2019 has also seen teams chasing ending up winning the matches. While skipper Hussain Talat anchored the chase for the Oryx in their first game, Pakistan cricketer, Muhammad Tanveer did the same for the Riders as he batted through for a winning cause.

The two teams batting first in the first three matches so far scored 83, 93 and 103 respectively. The fourth game of the T10 League 2019 between the Riders and the Oryx is expected to also follow the set pattern of chasing to win the game.
This makes the toss very crucial in every game in the tournament. All the three teams who won the matches opted to bowl first after winning the toss and chased down the scores comfortably batting second. This game is expected to be played in the same thumb rule as well. The teams are led by two Pakistan cricketers Mohammad Hafeez for the Riders and Hussain Talat for the Oryx. While Talat is a young promising cricketer, Hafeez, on the other hand, is one of the most experienced cricketers of the current Pakistan team.
While Hafeez failed to get going with the bat for the Riders, Talat played a matchwinning knock for the Oryx. It is the batting of both the leaders of the side which will decide the result of the game. One aspect of the game which has been missing so far in the Qatar T10 League 2019 is the competition between the teams. Teams have won rather comfortably chasing scores between 80 to 100. The bowlers of any team have not been able to put any impact in the competition so far.

All the teams have played at least one match each in the Qatar T10 League 2019 so far. As far as the points table after the first three matches are concerned, The Flying Oryx are at the top at the moment with a net run-rate of +2.787. Desert Riders (+1.342) and Flying Hunter (+0.100) are second and third respectively.
The Pearl Gladiators are languishing at the bottom of the table with a net run-rate of -2.787 after losing their first game in the tournament.
