All You Need to Know About Qatar Celebrity Cricket League

On 8th December 2019, QCCL Official Press Conference was held at Qatar Olympic Committee Office, Qatar, in the presence of The QCA President – Mr. Yousef Jeham Al Kuwari, QMISSION Founder & CEO Sheikha Sara Nasser A. Al Thani to officially announce the Qatar Celebrity Cricket League T20 Match.

Qatar Celebrity Cricket League (QCCL) is supported by the Qatar Cricket Association (QCA) which is the official governing body for the sport of Cricket in Qatar. 

QATAR CELEBRITIES CRICKET LEAGUE (QCCL) will be first of this kind in QATAR where 14 Cricket Legends across the world will play the T20 MATCH. Each team will consist of 8 international legend cricket players & 6 local selected Cricket Players divided as two teams (Team HOPE & Team CHALLENGERS).

The T20 match will be officiated by the Legend International umpire Mr. Simon Taufel & Billy Bowden. Tom Moody & Charlotte Edwards will be the commentators for the match. 14 players will be selected by a renowned Global Coach to play alongside the 14 Cricket legends. 

This event is hosted & organized by Q- MISSION as part of its social responsibility Goals in Qatar. Goodwill ambassadors from various awareness societies in Qatar & differently-abled people from the Qatar diaspora society will participate for this awareness campaign at the event.

Estimated to be a full house with the audience, the aim of QCCL is to bring the global community on one stage and spread awareness of the differently-abled people in society.

Ticketing details will be announced soon. QCCL will bring together each and every sector of society to participate in this noble cause to bring about awareness through this event and enjoy the game of cricket with legends on a united platform.
