Chelsea keen on this World Cup winner to replace Hazard

Premier League giants Chelsea are looking forward to the winter transfer window and are eying the opportunity to bring a World Cup winner to add to their misfiring front line. The Blues are currently placed in fourth in the Premier League race and have Eden Hazard to thank who has scored a majority of their goals.

But rumour mills has it that the Belgian is keen on moving to Real Madrid and if the Spanish club managers to lure him to Spain, Chelsea will have to think of a quick backup.

Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud haven’t been able to find the net on a consistent basis and Maurizio Sarri believes Olympique Lyonnais’ forward Nabil Fekir is the right man for the job. The France international who recently lifted the World Cup has a contract that runs until 2020 but Chelsea are confident of securing a deal this January.

The Frenchman should be a valueable addition to the squad, but Sarri knows it is highly unlikely he will be able to fill the shoes of Eden Hazard which is why a new deal is likely to be offered to the Belgian. Liverpool had the opportunity to sing the forward in the summer, but Lyon would not sell for a fee below £52.75million.
