Youssoufa Moukoko added the second goal, and Dortmund maintained their two-goal lead at half-time. Marco Reus scored a splendid free-kick, followed by Thomas Meunier’s strike and a Sebastien Haller penalty, taking Dortmund’s lead to 5-0. Philipp Besong then added the sixth goal shortly before full-time.

Their second summer encounter in the States was equally exciting for Dortmund fans and neutrals. In a fast-paced match in Las Vegas, Dortmund secured a 3-2 victory over Manchester United. Donyell Malen scored two quick goals just before the break to put Dortmund in the lead. New signing Marcel Sabitzer impressed with a sublime assist for Malen’s second goal. After Manchester United leveled the score in the second half, Moukoko struck the winning goal, securing another memorable victory for Dortmund
