Mika Biereth continues to impress on loan at Motherwell, scoring his second goal in as many games. Despite a 4-2 defeat to Aberdeen, Mika found the net in the 93rd minute, adding to his goal from the previous week after returning from injury. He also featured in a 1-0 loss to Kilmarnock, contributing to Motherwell’s performance in the Scottish Premiership.

In the Sky Bet Championship, Brooke Norton-Cuffy played 64 minutes for Millwall in a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Southampton. Ryan Fraser’s 93rd-minute winner secured the win for the Saints, leaving Millwall in 18th place in the league with 17 points.

Meanwhile, it was a challenging day for Charlie Patino at Swansea City, as he played only 30 minutes of their 0-0 draw with Sunderland before being sent off for two bookable offenses.

Overseas, Salah-Eddine Oulad M’Hand played 61 minutes for FC Den Bosch in their 2-1 defeat against Excelsior Rotterdam in the KNVB Cup’s first round. In Group B of the Cupa Romaniei, Catalin Cirjan played 62 minutes for FC Rapid Bucuresti in a goalless draw against Steaua Bucuresti.

In the British Isles, Billy Vigar had a busy week at Eastbourne Borough. He played 90 minutes in a 4-2 defeat to Chippenham Town but was forced off in the first half during a 3-3 draw with Slough Town. Eastbourne is currently 20th in the Vanarama National League South, three points above the relegation zone.

In the Barclays Women’s Super League, Bristol City climbed to 11th place following a 3-2 win over West Ham United, with Kaylan Marckese playing the full 90 minutes in goal for Bristol.

One tier below, Freya Godfrey came on in the 58th minute for Charlton Athletic during their 1-0 win over Lewes, contributing to the penalty that was scored by Kayleigh Green in the 90th minute. Charlton is third in the FA Women’s Championship, trailing leaders Sunderland by three points.

Crystal Palace, currently fourth in the Championship, secured a 3-0 win away to Watford, with Araya Dennis playing 67 minutes.
