A beautiful low-level flypast over…Sevens Stadium, as a salute to the 53rd UAE Eid Al Etihad was witnessed by thousands of sports fans as well as families.
The low-level flypast to salute the people was the finale of the UAE Eid celebrations that have taken the form of the Emirates Dubai Sevens – the biggest and the longest running sports and entertainment extravaganza in the Middle East.
While the A380 aircraft made the final approach to the ground to the delight of the audience, many of the mounted fans took the opportunity to record videos and images. 45 minutes after the Emirates Aster David took off from Dubai International Airport, he flew over the stadium on October 8, 2018 at 14:40 and 14:43, 15 minutes later coming down from an altitude of 1,500 feet.
The airplane was commanded by Captain Khalid Binsultan and Captain Mubarak Al Mheiri of the United Arab Emirates, the crew being Captain Abdalla Al Hammadi as well.
“Emirates flypast was pillared by its signature aircraft that emphatically promotes the long stake Emirates Dubai 7s.” said the representative from Emirates, commentating on the unnoticed piloted flypast.
Every December, around the UAE National Day weekend, Emirates Dubai 7s is held at The Sevens Stadium, Dubai and continues to build on the unique history of Rugby Sevens, which has spanned over 54 years and features the best of international teams every year.
The 2024 Emirates Dubai 7s competitions took place during the Eid al Etihad celebrations, from 29 November to 1 December, and featured a host of international competition arms and players, world-class performers, and many hospitality components, besides rugby, netball, cricket and fitness and other amateur competitions.
With attractions targeting different segments, including families, sports fanatics, festival quests and music lovers, Emirates Dubai 7s avails different rings throughout an action-packed weekend.
