Australia recalled veteran Kurtley Beale for the upcoming Nations Championship. He replaces Hunter Paisami in the Wallabies squad. Paisami withdrew from the autumn tests for personal reasons.
Returning After Injury Setbacks
Beale currently holds 95 test caps for his country. He last represented Australia against Wales in 2021. An Achilles injury ruined his chances of playing earlier this year. Head coach Les Kiss praised Beale for his versatility. The Western Force player provides valuable cover across the backline.
New Faces Join The Ranks
The coaching staff also added James Ramm to the squad. Ramm enjoyed an impressive provincial campaign in New Zealand. He plays on the wing or at fullback. Scrumhalf Kalani Thomas will also join the main squad shortly.
McDermott Departs For Family Reasons
Tate McDermott plans to return home during November. McDermott expects the birth of his first child. Australia will face England at Twickenham on November 8. Tests against Scotland and Wales will follow.
