Arsenal fans share reportedly leaked image confirming Kai Havertz Transfer
- Updated: June 28, 2023
The German international is set to swap the Blues for the Gunners in a £65million move.
And now Twitter users are circulating an image that appears to show the forward in the new Arsenal home kit.
Havertz will become Arsenal’s first signing of the summer following their impressive Premier League campaign.
Although they felt short of the Premier League crown behind Manchester City, Mikel Arteta’s side still showed impressive signs of what could come.
They are set to strengthen in the summer, with Havertz the first big name through the door as they eye another title charge.
In an image leaked by Twitter user @MoArsenal86, the 24-year-old can be seen donning the new Arsenal home kit.
He appears to be very pleased with such a move, with the German attacker all smiles ahead of his switch.
Arsenal midfielder Jorginho, who left Chelsea in January, recently hinted that a deal was close to completion.
Havertz now looks set to be officially presented as a new Gunner, moving from one London giant to another.
He will depart Chelsea after three seasons at the club following his move from Bayer Leverkusen in 2020.
Although goals appeared to lack in his debut season, Blues fans will always remember his Champions League final winner against City.
Contributions in front of goal increased in the following campaign, one that saw him win the Super Cup and Club World Cup.
However, like the rest of his Chelsea teammates, he struggled in the season just gone as the west London side finished 12th in the league.
A fresh start might be just what Havertz needs to find his shooting boots, with the forward still in the early stages of his career.
