Spanish media outlet Marca has recently dished out what according to them is the worst starting XI of LaLiga for the first half of the season. And that team is headed by some big names from Real Madrid with Cristiano Ronaldo being the biggest of them all.
The Portuguese superstar has found going difficult in the league – having scored only 4 goals so far. With Madrid and especially Ronaldo failing to find the mark, the defending champions find themselves 19 points off the lead; although they have a game in hand.
Ronaldo is joined in the team by fellow Madristas – Karim Benzema, Marcelona and Achraf Hakii. Another strong link to the capital side is the presence of Enzo Zidane – the son of Real manager and legend, Zinedine Zidane.
The midfielder was signed by Deportivo Alaves at the beggining of the season. However, the youngster was sent out on loan to FC Lausanne-Sport. The only Barcelona player to make an entry into the team is Gerard Deulofeu, who has been unable to get in Ernesto Valverde's scheme of things and has made only 5 starts this season in all competitions.
