Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy is a regional T20 tournament played among the Ranji Teams in India. This T20 tournament is organised by BCCI. The first edition of the tournament was played in the 2009/10.
Syed Ali Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2019-20 Schedule is already announced by BCCI which is scheduled to start from 8 Nov to 01 December 2019 just before IPL Auction 2020. There are total 38 teams will play 142 matches which is divided in 5 groups, with two groups containing 7 teams and three groups with 8 teams. The 11th edition of the tournament will follow a round-robin format. Top two teams of the each group in Mushtaq Ali trophy 2019-20 points table will qualify for the super league section of the Trophy.
In the Super League stage, the 10 teams will be divided into 2 groups of five Teams in a each group. The top two teams of respective groups will face each other in the final of Syed Mushtaq Ali 2019-20 on 01 December 2019. Find the updated Syed Mushtaq Ali points table given below:-

Karnataka defeated Tamil Nadu to defend its Syed Mushtaq Ali crown on 01 December 2019. Karnataka all rounder Krishnappa Gowtham defended 12 runs in the final over to help retain the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in a nail-biting finish at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat. This is Karnataka’s 2nd title this season after beating Tamil Nadu in the final of the Vijay Hazare trophy as well in October 2019.
