ICC U19 World Cup 2020 Teams, Squads, Groups and Players List

The 13th edition of ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup is scheduled to start from 17 January 2019 and will end on 03 February 2020. ICC U-19 World Cup 2020 will be held in South Africa. The tournament kick starts with the hosts South Africa taking on Afghanistan in the opening encounter of the tournament on 17th January 2020.

India is the most successful team in the tournament, having won 4 titles till date; including the last edition in 2018 after defeating Australia by 8 wickets in the final match of the tournament.

ICC Under-19 World Cup 2020 Groups

There are 16 teams participating in the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2020 and they are divided into four groups. Defending champion India is placed in Group A with the debutant qualifier Japan, New Zealand and Sri Lanka. The top two teams from each of the 4 groups will advance to the Super League while the remaining teams feature in the Plate championship.

  • Group A: India, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Japan
  • Group B: Australia, England, West Indies, Nigeria
  • Group C: Pakistan, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, Scotland
