Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor has officially confirmed that it has started transfer negotiations with Mohamed Salah, with club officials hoping to complete the signing later this week.

In a statement released on Turkey’s public disclosure platform, Trabzonspor announced that discussions are underway to sign the Egyptian forward, who is currently a free agent.
The club confirmed that negotiations have officially begun as they work towards securing one of the biggest transfers in Turkish football.
Medical Expected Before Signing
Speaking to Turkish broadcaster A Spor, Trabzonspor Chairman Ertugrul Dogan revealed that Salah is expected to arrive in Istanbul on Wednesday for medical examinations.
Following the medical, the Egyptian star is expected to travel to Trabzon, where the club hopes to complete the deal. Dogan indicated that the contract could be signed on Thursday, although final details are still being worked out.
Salah’s Remarkable Liverpool Career
Salah left Liverpool this summer after an outstanding nine-year spell at Anfield.
During his time with the Premier League giants, he made 442 appearances, scoring 257 goals while helping Liverpool win:
