Manchester City will this weekend reportedly put an end to Pep Guardiola’s decade-long trophy-laden reign.
Guardiola, 55, has won:
- Six Premier League titles
- Manchester City’s first Champions League
- 20 Trophies won since arriving in England in 2016
If City maximum two matches left (Bournemouth,Aston villa) win and Arsenal can not win a match against Crystal Palace in Sunday league matches final round, he could add another to his collection.
Guardiola will leave following Villa’s visit to the Etihad. The city has declined to comment on the rumors.
The club were set to parade the League Cup and FA Cup trophies over a route through Manchester on Monday, in what could be a farewell to Guardiola.
Rumour has it that the club’s former head coach Enzo Maresca, who worked on Guardiola’s staff at City, is in line to take over next season.
