‘He is going to Real Madrid’: Eden Hazard warns Chelsea of summer deal – huge claims

EDEN HAZARD has warned Chelsea bosses team-mate Thibaut Courtois is joining Real Madrid.

At least, those are the huge claims coming out of Spain today.

Both players have been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid in the past and Los Blancos are expected to renew their interest in the pair in the summer window.

Express Sport understands Madrid are readu to offer Chelsea  £100m PLUS Gareth Bale for Hazard at the end of the season.

But it seems Courtois could already be heading to the Bernabeu.

Spanish publication Diario Gol claim Eden Hazard has been informed of his Belgian team-mate’s plans and has told Chelsea: ‘He’s going to Real Madrid’.

Courtois has made no secret of his desire to return to Spain one day and he is yet to sign a new deal with the Blues.

Chelsea are working hard to get the pair to extend their stays and it seems Hazard is the most likely of the two to commit his future to the Stamford Bridge outfit.

He said this week: “For the time being I'm here.

'There are still some months to go and competitions to try to win, then the World Cup is coming up.

'I'm here, I still have 2½ years on my contract. I'm very settled here and playing every game.

'The fans like me a lot and my family likes it here. We'll see.'

And Hazard now hopes Chelsea can do all they can to convince Courtois to stay put in west London.

But with Diario Gol claiming Courtois is already set on joining the European champions, the Blues will have their work cut out to tie him down to a new long-term deal.

The goalkeeper’s current contract runs until the summer of 2019.
