FIFA World Cup 2018: A Brazilian bar is offering free shots every time Neymar falls over

A bar in Rio de Janeiro has contrived a new way of enhancing their business and the football fever at the World Cup. The new strategy offers free shots to the customers every time Brazilian talisman Neymar hits the ground in their final group fixture against Serbia.

The match is to be played on 27th June, Wednesday, and a large crowd is expected to turn up courtesy of this lucrative offer.

The Sir Walter Pub posted on their Facebook page, “At each Neymar fall, it’s a round of shots on the house!”

The bar, much like many other followers of the World Cup, understands that Neymar hits the ground far too easily.

The Paris Saint Germain forward has shown glimpses of his fragility many a time in the World Cup. Not been in the best of form, Neymar has used the alternate, the ‘dirty’ way of playing football more often than not.

Thanks to today’s technology in VAR, which has been helpful to many teams, he was caught red handed while attempting a fake penalty call. Much to his despair, the VAR proved his exaggeration.

Brazil, despite having collected four points from their two games, have looked rusty and off-colour, to say the least. They played out an unattractive draw against Switzerland and followed that with a scrappy win against Costa Rica.

Neymar has been treated roughly at times though, being the most fouled player in this edition of the World Cup – 14 times. He was fouled 10 times in the match against Switzerland and hence, this origin of this mockery is understandable.

Brazil play Serbia in their final encounter, knowing that three points is a must if they need to grab the top spot. This is because if Switzerland beat an uninspired Costa Rica side, they could top Group E.
