Chelsea news: Real Madrid think one player holds the key to Eden Hazard transfer

REAL MADRID are hoping to land Eden Hazard in the summer.

But the Chelsea star will not be easy to prise away from Stamford Bridge as the Blues could demand a world-record fee for his signature. 

However, Real Madrid think that they have an ace up their sleeve that would be able to ensure the transfer goes ahead, according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo.

Los Blancos are set for a huge summer shake-up because of a disastrous season in La Liga.

As well as a new goalkeeper, Real apparently want to bolster their attacking ranks.

And Zinedine Zidane’s side believe they can offer Marco Asensio to sweeten the deal for Hazard.

The Spain international made a huge impact as he came off the bench to help Real to a 3-1 win against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

And his performance has supposedly alerted Chelsea, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Premier League champions reportedly made a move for the 22-year-old in the summer.

Real could now part way with the attacking midfielder if it means they land Hazard.

However, Tottenham are also said to be tracking Asensio and he could be used as part of any deal to take Harry Kane to the Bernabeu.
