Stallions win Asian Premier League Season 2 title

Stallions defeated BD Bullets to win the Asian Premier League Season 2 tournament held at Thumama recently.

Batting first, Stallions after winning the toss scored 192 for 8 in the allotted 15 overs. Captain Faizal Ali top scored with 60 runs in

23 balls while Noman Afridi chipped in with 43 runs.

In reply BD Bullets could reach  only 165 runs for the loss of nine wickets. Anowar Hossain top scored with 51 in 23 balls and Sheak Shadi Kawser contributed 46 in 20 deliveries.

For Stallions, Noman Afridi took 3 wickets for 26 runs in three overs.

Mohamed Musthafa, General Manager, Entelyst WLL President, Quaide Millath Forum Qatar, was the Chief Guest for the final.  Others present were, Balakrishna Murthy Viswanatham,  General Manager at GE Renewable Energy, Grid Automation, Rajani Murthy , Managing Committee member of Indian Community Benevolent Forum – Qatar, Faheem  Mohammed Marketing Manager  DiaPro Trading & Contracting, and Mushtaq Khan, MD- Dana Khaleej Contracting Co. Asian Premier League is managed by Executive Chairman Mohammed Sayeed,President Lutfi Kakkar,Vice-President  Badr. Shaikh along with Other Committee Members.
