WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs Predictions

#8 Randy Orton vs. Rey Mysterio in a Chairs Match:

Let us take a moment and appreciate Randy Orton’s current heel run first. Orton has been nailing it as a sadistic heel. He has been targeting fan favorites and has already destroyed Jeff Hardy and Tye Dillinger. His current target, Rey Mysterio, made his long-awaited return to WWE this year. The feud between the two was rekindled after Mysterio eliminated Orton from the World Cup Tournament at Crown Jewel. The two are all set to square off in a Chairs match.

This feud is one of the best things going on in WWE currently. The way Orton has been targeting Mysterio and attempting to take off his mask every week to disrespect him is some really good heel work. Although Mysterio has just returned, Orton needs to win this one to move on to his next target (possibly AJ Styles) with more credibility.

Prediction: Randy Orton wins.

#9 Becky Lynch (c) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka in a triple threat TLC match for the Smackdown Live Women’s Championship:

Smackdown Live’s Women division is on fire as of late. The anti-hero gimmick has made Becky Lynch similar to Stone Cold Steve Austin in many ways. Many people have said that “The Man” Becky Lynch is one of the best parts of not only Smackdown Live, but WWE entirely. Charlotte Flair, on the other hand, had a recent change in character too after she demolished Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series. Also, she is undefeated in triple threat matches. The Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka, did not achieve anything major post-Wrestlemania 35 but her inclusion in the match has definitely increased the hype.

I expect Becky Lynch to win the match and retain her title. She has done a great job as the Champion so far, and her reign should continue for at least a few more months. Asuka is one of the favorites to win the match too, but she has just started picking up momentum and will be ready to capture the title, possibly by Elimination Chamber. Last but not the least, The Queen, Charlotte Flair can also retrieve the strap, but there is no way that she will miss the Women’s Royal Rumble match again. So even if she wins the match, she will drop the title before Royal Rumble. I stand by my prediction, however, that Becky Lynch will climb up the ladder and retrieve the title.

Prediction: Becky Lynch retains.
