WWE Raw Superstar Sasha Banks set to return from injury

WWE Superstar Sasha Banks, who has been mysteriously off television for a while now, will be returning to action in a few days' time as she has been advertised for next Saturday’s house show in Maine. Sasha, who last appeared on WWE television on the September 3 episode of Monday Night RAW, was on the sidelines for over one month.

Though she was not on television, she did perform in some house shows before she was pulled out of the Raw house shows. WWE confirmed that Sasha is suffering from an undisclosed injury and will be missing the second edition of the WWE Mixed Match Challenge which is aired Live on Facebook after WWE SmackDown Live on Tuesdays.

In the competition, Sasha was set to Partner Bobby Lashley but after the injury she suffered, she was replaced by Mickie James.

After going off WWE television, Sasha did appear on a taped edition of MTV's Wild 'N Out but she was later removed from an MTV Ridiculousness taping and was replaced by the WWE SmackDown Live Women's Champion Becky Lynch last week.

There were a lot of reports which stated that the former Raw Women's Champion was not happy with the company as she is in the mid-card of the Women's section of Raw. She was involved in a feud with the Riott Squad before she went off the television.

With her return all but confirmed, Sasha, who was earlier not promoted for WWE's first-ever women's PPV, Evolution, is also expected to be part of the PPV event that will take place on October 28th in Uniondale, New York. Though she is currently not listed on the Evolution page on WWE.com, she is set to appear on promotional material around New York at that time.

Upon her return, she could be involved in a feud with her best friend Bayley as the duo teased a heel turn on each other for a while before they reunited to take down the Riott Squad.
