WWE all set to unveil brand new Championship

We are living in the brand split era with a roster filled with countless championship caliber talents, many of whom don’t even get enough TV time. Thus, it makes sense for WWE to even consider introducing a brand new championship and that is exactly what might happen soon.

The talks of WWE unveiling the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship have been doing the rounds for a very long time and it seems the company is finally ready to pull the trigger on the aforementioned plan.

The upcoming first-ever all Women’s PPV, WWE Evolution, could serve as the platform for WWE to reintroduce the tag team titles for the women’s division. Now you may be wondering, reintroduced? Yes. WWE had a Women’s Tag Team titles back in the 1980s that was unfortunately deactivated in 1989.

It has taken 29 years and the much-hyped Women’s Revolution for the WWE to finally consider getting back the titles that could give many of the gifted women on the roster a reason to stick with the company.

Nothing is confirmed as of this writing but Stephanie McMahon could be present at Evolution to reveal the titles. No surprises there! Additionally, it has also been speculated that there will be only one set of titles common for both brands.

The monumental announcement is bound to make an already historic show even more newsworthy. WWE Evolution will take place in Uniondale, New York at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on October 28th, 2018. Here is the card for the show which could see more additions in the coming weeks:

Lita & Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James and Alexa Bliss

Kairi Sane vs. Shayna Baszler (WWE NXT Championship Match)

Lo Shirai vs. Toni Storm (Mae Young Classic Tournament 2018 Finals Match)

Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair (WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship)

Ronda Rousey vs. Nikki Bella (WWE RAW Women’s Championship)

To be announced (NXT UK Women’s Championship Match)
