Two matches made official for WWE Evolution

WWE has made two matches official for the WWE Evolution PPV which will be taking place in New York on October 28. While it was advertised that WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus will take on five-time women's champion Alexa Bliss in a singles match.

The recent actions made the match a tag team contest between Alexa Bliss and her tag team partner Mickie James taking on the team of two Hall of Famers and the torchbearers of women's wrestling, Trish and Lita.

While Trish was cutting a promo for her match against Bliss on Raw, her opponent came out with Mickie James and started running her mouth. Then on the behest of James, the heels proposed the idea of making Stratus vs Bliss a tag match.

It looked like Trish liked the idea and she had a back-up ready if needed and revealed her nemesis from the past, Lita, as her tag team partner for her match at the first-ever all-women PPV. The match was made official by the WWE soon after.

WWE Raw women's champion Ronda Rousey, who is looking for an opponent to defend her title at WWE Evolution, found one after the Bella Twins attacked her following their match against the Riott Squad in a rematch of their encounter at the WWE Super Show-Down that took place in Melbourne last weekend.

The faces got the better of the Riott Squad yet again and when the trio was celebrating in the middle of the ring, the Bella twins let go Ronda and attacked her from behind. Following their attack on Ronda, The Bella twins, in a backstage interview with Kayla Braxton, revealed the reason behind their actions on Raw.

While Brie pointed out that Rousey hasn't been by their side as a partner, she's been taking up their space and standing in front of them, taking their shine, Nikki said that both the Bellas are here for Evolution and they are here to remind everyone including Ronda that this is a Bellalution.

Soon, WWE made Ronda Rousey vs Nikki Bella official for WWE Evolution with Ronda's title on the line.
