Rey Mysterio
The Royal Rumble match always throws up some surprises and it was the case this year as well. The fans in attendance at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia lost it when they heard “Booyaka Booyaka 619” followed by the return of Rey Mysterio.
Rey Mysterio, who is a former WWE, World Heavyweight, Tag Team, and Intercontinental Champion, left the company in 2015 and made a couple of appearances at Royal Rumble in January and the Greatest Royal Rumble in April before he came back as a full-time wrestler during the 1000th episode of SmackDown Live.
He will be an active wrestler on the blue brand and is expected to win the US title early next year.
