SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch reportedly injured

SmackDown Live Women's Champion Becky Lynch has been reportedly suffering from a jaw injury and has been working in spite of it. According to a report from Pro Wrestling Unlimited, The Lass Kicker is suffering from a cracked jaw. It has been speculated that the injury occurred at Super Show-Down and she has not been 100% since then.

Becky has been on a league on her own ever since turning heel at WWE SummerSlam earlier this year. After taking on Carmella and her best friend Charlotte Flair for the title, Becky turned heel on Charlotte after the latter won the title in a match that was supposed be a singles match between Carmella and Becky.

Since then, both Becky and Charlotte have been involved in a fiery on the blue brand. Becky won the title from Charlotte at the WWE Hell In A Cell PPV. Charlotte activated her rematch clause at the WWE Super Show-Down PPV that took place at the MCG in Melbourne last week.

Charlotte won the match via DQ after Becky hit her with the belt and in spite of the loss, the title remained with Becky as the Women's title cannot be changed via DQ.

General Manager Paige announced a No DQ match between the duo on the last SmackDown episode but this time, both the competitors were brawling outside the ring which led to a double count-out and Becky walking away with the title.

Now, it has been announced that Becky will defend her title against Charlotte in the first-ever Last Woman Standing match at the first-ever women's PPV, Evolution on October 26.

In spite of the injury, Becky is expected to be a part of the historic PPV, defend her title and walk out as the champion. Since the injury is not expected to be serious, it is unlikely that Becky will take a break to recover from the cracked jaw.
