Kurt Angle’s future plans revealed

Earlier this week, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle surprised everyone by returning to WWE as he, dressed up as The Conquistador, took part in a Battle Royal for a place in the WWE World Cup that will be taking place at the WWE Crown Jewel PPV which will be hosted at the King Saud University stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 2.

The acting General Manager of Raw, Baron Corbin booked this match in a bid to eliminate all the enhancement talents and qualify for the World Cup. He almost got what he wanted as he eliminated everyone but Kurt Angle, as The Conquistador, shocked him by delivering three German Suplexes, an Angle Slam before eliminating him. After the match, The Conquistador removed his mask and revealed his original identity.

With this, Angle will be a part of the WWE World Cup which also has the likes of John Cena, Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy and four others participating in it. But, that won't be a one-off match for Angle as he is set to be a regular on Monday Night Raw in the upcoming weeks and is expected to be a part of the Survivor Series PPV.

As per reports from the PWInsider, 'Angle will be a part of Monday Night RAW next week and he will also be a regular character going forward. It’s likely they’ll be moving forward with the feud between Angle and Corbin. There have been rumours that Angle and Corbin could face off in a Survivor Series match to determine who will be RAW’s General Manager.'

Ever since Corbin was appointed as the constable of Monday Night Raw, there have been differences between both Corbin and Angle. Angle was off TV for the last two months as Raw commissioner Stephanie McMahon sent him on a vacation and gave him an indefinite break.
