Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard has once again spoken about moving to Spain just days after openly admitting that he dreams to play for Real Madrid one day. The Belgium captain had a tremendous World Cup with his nation and was awarded the second best player award after the conclusion of the tournament.
He was touted to move to Real Madrid following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. However, while the Galacticos were able to poach his compatriot and the best goalkeeper of the 2018 World Cup, Thibaut Courtois, the Blancos couldn’t repeat it with the Chelsea number 10.
And now, just days after displaying his love for the Bernabeu outfit, he has once again spoken about a potential move to Spain and why he wants to take the flight, although he did answer 'No' when asked whether he would leave Chelsea for Real Madrid in the winter.
“That’s why I want to go, maybe,” said Hazard when asked whether he wants to go to Spain to win the Ballon d'Or.
He was also not short of confidence and replied with an emphatic “Yes” when quizzed whether he is the best player in the world on current form.
However, he also kept his feet on the ground and added that his team-mates are also helping him and that he can always perform better.
“The team is helping me a lot also. I can improve for sure. We can always improve in football. We can score more goals, more assists.”
The Belgian is currently the top scorer in the Premier League with 7 goals from 8 games while also assisting thrice in the process.
