The Japan national team captain has been revealed as Liverpool’s third new addition in this summer’s transfer window, joining fellow midfield recruits Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai. His move comes after departing Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart.
Endo has chosen to adopt the No.3 jersey, a position recently vacated by Fabinho in the previous month.
Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com, Endo shared, “Number three is my preferred number as I have worn it during my time at Stuttgart and even when I played in Japan. This number holds special significance for me! I’m eagerly looking forward to showcasing my skills wearing this number here.”
