On Tuesday, almost 2,000 Newcastle United Women supporters gathered at Kingston Park for an open training session. The event took place just days before Becky Langley’s team is set to participate in the Sela Cup, presented by VisitMalta, this weekend. Despite the rain, the atmosphere was lively as fans watched the Magpies put in hard work on the pitch.
The open day offered various activities, including meet-and-greets, shooting challenges, and esports, adding to the excitement for the eager fans. They had the opportunity to get autographs and take pictures with their favorite players.
The day’s highlight was a Q&A session featuring Langley, Katie Barker, Jodie Bartle, and Hannah Greenwood, where lucky fans had the chance to win new 2023/24 Newcastle United home shirts.
