Former Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has stated that it will not be possible for Hazard to say no to Real Madrid. His words come not long after the Belgian himself admitted about his dream for playing for the Blancos.
After the conclusion of the World Cup a few months ago, Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid to join Juventus, sparking a plethora of rumours about the Galacticos going after the former Lille star.
However, in the end, the Merengues signed no-one to replace their star man and they are now struggling to score as they failed to find the net in the last four games. As a result, the Hazard rumours are back again – fueled by the player himself – and Morata has revealed that he and the Belgian talk about it.
He also added that the number 10 isn’t desperate to leave the London club but will find it impossible to reject the chance to go to the Bernabeu.
“We talk about it, yes. It’s not that Eden wants to leave Chelsea, it’s just that he won’t even think about it if Madrid go after him. If he’s said it that clearly it’s because that’s simply the truth,” said Morata.
The Spaniard further added that the relationship between Hazard and Chelsea means that he will always think about the Blues’ perspective as well.
“We also have to keep in mind that he has a great relationship with the club, he’s happy in London too. It’s not that he wants to leave the club no matter what, he will think about Chelsea too,” added the attacker.
With the January window approaching soon and Madrid’s scoring woes finding no solutions as of yet, it won’t be surprising if the European champions launch a full-scale attack to bring the Belgium captain to the club.
