Substitute Mathys Tel’s late goal secured a comeback win for Bayern Munich against Borussia Mönchengladbach, maintaining their perfect start to the season with three wins from three matches.
The match ended with a score of 1-2 in favor of Bayern Munich:
- 1-0: Itakura scored for Gladbach in the 30th minute, assisted by Wöber.
- 1-1: Sane equalized for Bayern in the 58th minute, assisted by Kimmich.
- 1-2: Tel scored the late winner for Bayern in the 87th minute, also assisted by Kimmich.
In the early stages of the game, Bayern dominated, and Sane had a chance but clipped wide. Gladbach’s Marvin Friedrich headed a free-kick onto the crossbar, showing signs of improvement. They took the lead when Itakura scored a looping header from a corner.
