In a match against Bristol City Women, Arsenal Women secured a 2-1 victory in the Women’s Super League. Katie McCabe’s brace played a crucial role in this win, with her second goal in two games being a highlight. The match had a record attendance of 12,008 fans at Ashton Gate.
Arsenal Women, under the management of Jonas Eidevall, made two changes to the starting lineup compared to their previous game against Aston Villa. Laia Codina and Victoria Pelova joined the starting eleven.
The game began with Arsenal’s dominant play, and in the 7th minute, Katie McCabe unleashed a powerful shot from outside the area, scoring a fantastic goal. However, Bristol City quickly equalized with a header from Rachel Furness.
The equalizer injected energy into Bristol City, and they fiercely contested every ball. Arsenal Women tried to regain the lead but couldn’t find the net, resulting in a level score at halftime.
