QPW: SuperSlam II Matches, Date, Time, Venue and other Information

QPW stands for Qatar Pro Wrestling (QPW) and it has confirmed the second edition of its SuperSlam which will take place on the 21st of February, 2020 as per the official release.

QPW SuperSlam II Venue

The venue for QPW SuperSlam 2 will be the Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena in Qatar. Wrestling biggies from North Africa and the Middle East will be participating in the event along with superstars from the United Kingdom, United States, South Africa, Austria, France, Mexico and Canada.

Wrestling fans will be in for a treat as they will get to see legends like Kevin Nash, Mark Henry, Eric Bischoff, The Great Khali, Rob Van Dam and others in action. Road Warrior Animal is also expected at the QPW SuperSlam 2. There will be several other superstars like Brian Cage, PJ Black, Alberto del Rio, Rich Swann, Caprice Coleman, nZo, Chris Raaber, Brian Pillman Jr, Alofa, Matt Sydal, Carlito, Apolo, Johnny Storm, Mil Muertes, Jody Fleisch and Chris Masters among others at the event. Wrestlers like White Eagle, Dos Caras and Tristan Archer will also be joining the event.

Alberto del Rio, the Mexican American pro-wrestler, is the present holder of the QPW World Title Championship and will be looking to defend his title this year. The QPW SuperSlam 2 will have four Championship title matches. These are the following:

Eric Bischoff has been confirmed as the new General Manager and is known for serving as the executive producer and then president of WCW (World Championship Wrestling). The Chairman at QPW, Ali Ahmad al-Marafi, stated that QPW SuperSlam 2 is one of 2020’s biggest sporting events and the organizers are looking forward to welcoming some of global wrestling’s biggest superstars. This will be an amazing event for fans and the sport in the whole region with numerous legendary figures under a single roof and exclusive guest appearances to look forward to as well.

Qatar Pro Wrestling (QPW) Superslam Details

Qatar Pro Wrestling was founded in the year 2013 in Doha and is the only professional wrestling association in the Middle Eastern region as per the official press release. The live broadcast of the 2020 event will be showcased globally. Fans are already going berserk with news of the iconic Rob Van Dam or Mr. Monday Night or even Mr. PPV joining the event. Rob Van Dam first won the ECW World TV Title, hogging the limelight prior to shifting to the WWF where he had several iconic matches against top stars. The live broadcast will have the production team being spearheaded by iconic wrestling director Craig Leathers as well.

Fans are also excited to see The Great Khali in action, particularly enthusiasts from India. The giant Khali stands at more than 7 feet tall and is a major superstar today, having attained success in WWE, Bollywood, Punjab and Hollywood alike across both wrestling and films. He debuted in 2006 in the WWE and won the World Heavyweight Championship in the year 2007 itself. A bout has already been planned between Brian Pillman Jr. and nZo. There will be more exciting matches in store for fans at the mega event. The QPW SuperSlam 2 promises to start 2020 with a bang as far as wrestling enthusiasts are concerned!
