Al Gharafa down Al Shamal to win QBF League title

Al Gharafa players and officials celebrating after winning the Qatar Basketball Federation Men’s League title after defeating Al Shamal 89-71 at Al Gharafa Hall yesterday.
Franklin Session Jr (24) and Abdulrahman Saad (22) made valuable contributions for Al Gharafa who took revenge of Al Shamal who beat the Wolves in the last season’s final. Earlier in the third place play-off, Al Arabi defeated Al Sadd 82-70 to finish third in the League. Sammy Monroe Jr scored 24 points while Ater James Majok added 25 points for the winners.
