UEFA Champions League Draw: Barcelona gets off easy, Real Madrid not so lucky
Barcelona got probably the easiest draw for the Champions League quarter-final as the are set to square off against Italian side Roma. However, luck, wasn’t with defending champions Real Madrid who drew Juventus for a rematch of last year’s final.
The Catalans, who are still unbeaten in La Liga will be heading in the last eight full of confidence after clinically dismantling Chelsea 4-1 over the two legs in their Round of 16 fixture.
Roma, however, will be no pushovers. The Serie A side have failed to mount a challenge in the domestic scene but topped their group before taking care of Shakhtar Donetsk on the away goals rule.
In the other Spain vs Italy clash, Real Madrid will have their task cut out overcoming Juventus over two legs. The Old Lady made a superb comeback against Tottenham in the last round and will be baying for blood after being humiliated in last year’s final.

Real Madrid, meanwhile continues to defy the odds when it comes to the Champions League. Having won the competition three times in the last four seasons, they have time and again rewritten history when it comes to Europe and became the first team to successfully defend the title last season.
Elsewhere, it will be an all-Premier League affair as Liverpool and Manchester City go ahead against each other. The two have produced some of the most scintillating games in England in recent times and one could again expect the same this time around as well!
German giants Bayern Munich meanwhile will take on Sevilla – who knocked out Manchester United in the previous round.
